  34.      Yes, it *is* true that the main Aminet site (ftp.wustl.edu) had a
  35. hardware breakdown.  Obviously, this is the reason that the flow of
  36. files had stopped.  It also took the maintenance guys a lot longer to
  37. fix the problem, and especially a lot longer to restore all the
  38. backup tapes.
  39.      The site is back up now, but whether it is back in *full*
  40. operation, I am not sure.  However, RECENT files are again being
  41. updated.  So, the flow of files to all of the mirror locations
  42. has been resumed.
